What functionality is free in StudioCloud?

The free version is a desktop only business management software solution with one user login. It includes client management, scheduling, invoicing, order management, marketing campaigns, bookkeeping, reporting, and many more features.

Is StudioCloud Desktop or Online Software?
|
StudioCloud is desktop software with online capabilities.
Each StudioCloud desktop program has a copy of all of your data on it which allows you to work with or without an internet connection.
In addition, each desktop program syncs your data to the cloud which provides you with automatic backups as well as the ability to access your data from another computer, phone, tablet, or internet browser.

Does StudioCloud support multiple users?

Yes.
The free desktop software comes with one user login that allows that user to login on multiple computers and access their information anywhere they have an internet connection. However, that user can not be logged in on more then one desktop computer at the exact same time.
With StudioCloud’s PartnerBoost you can have two StudioCloud users simultaneously on two different computers all accessing and updating the information anywhere they have an internet connection.
With StudioCloud’s EmployeeBoost you can have three or more StudioCloud users simultaneously on multiple computers all accessing and updating the information anywhere they have an internet connection. In addition, EmployeeBoost also has security role based access control, advanced scheduling, advanced reporting, and time card tracking.

Does StudioCloud come with support?
StudioCloud does not provide support for free users. Free users can access the community forum at mystudiocloud.com.
All users have access to the written tutorials, video tutorials, and Community Forum which are available under the help link.
Paid subscriptions as well as users that are in their 15 day free trial receive live chat, email, and trouble ticket support. If a issue can not be resolved by live chat, email/trouble ticket then a screen share and/or a phone call will be scheduled to resolve the issue.
StudioCloud also offers one-on-one training for a small fee. We'll share your screen, so we can see what you're seeing, and be able to talk to you so we can help you setup your software, train your team on how to use StudioCloud, or help teach you how to use StudioCloud for your specific industry.
Can I install StudioCloud on multiple computers?
Yes.
You can install StudioCloud on as many computers as you like.
To be able to login simultaneously on multiple computers at the same time you will need to subscribe to the EmployeeBoost.
How much do the StudioCloud Add-ons cost?
StudioCloud provides free business management software with paid for add-ons.

Does StudioCloud work on Mac and Windows?
Yes.
StudioCloud runs on Adobe AIR which runs on both Mac and Windows. Adobe AIR's system requirements are available here.
What taxes does StudioCloud support?
StudioCloud has a customizable taxation tool to track all sales tax.
For International Customers StudioCloud also supports PST, GST, HST, and VAT.
Where is my information stored and is it secure?
Customer information is stored on your computer as well as in our secure data centers. All communications to and from the data center, are encrypted with full industry standard 128-bit SSL security.
